SMS Communication Consent‍ ‍

My New Rental, LLC obtains SMS consent from all tenants and property owners through signed legal agreements executed as part of every residential lease and property management relationship.

For Tenants:

A Communication Consent Addendum is included with every residential lease agreement. The addendum authorizes My New Rental, LLC to send SMS/text messages related to rent reminders, maintenance updates, lease renewals, move-in/move-out instructions, emergency alerts, and general property management communications.

For Property Owners:

A Communication Consent section is included in every Property Management Agreement. The section authorizes My New Rental, LLC to send SMS/text messages related to owner statement notifications, maintenance updates, lease activity, inspection reports, tax documents, and general property management communications.

Program Details:

  • Consent is voluntary and not a condition of leasing or receiving services

  • Message frequency varies based on account activity

  • Message and data rates may apply

  • Reply STOP to opt out at any time

  • Reply HELP for assistance

  • Mobile phone numbers will not be shared with or sold to third parties

Consent Language SummaryTenant SMS Consent (from Communication Consent Addendum, Section 1.2): "By signing this Addendum, Tenant(s) expressly consent to receive SMS/text messages from My New Rental, LLC and its authorized property management platforms (including AppFolio) at the mobile phone number(s) provided. Messages may include rent payment reminders, maintenance request updates, lease renewal notifications, move-in/move-out instructions, emergency property alerts, and general property management communications."

Owner SMS Consent (from Property Management Agreement): "Owner expressly consents to receive SMS/text messages from My New Rental, LLC regarding owner statement notifications, maintenance updates, lease activity, inspection reports, tax documents, and general property management communications."

Opt-Out: Reply STOP to any message to cancel. Reply HELP for assistance.
